Stephan Buys​

Stephan has a M.Sc. in Computer Science from Rhodes University and has been involved in the IT industry for over 20 years. He has an expansive background in the field and has the distinction of being the first South African Certified Splunk Deployment Architect as well as Certified Splunk Support Engineer. Prior to him transitioning to the Big Data world Stephan focused heavily on Open Source Software. This experience has stood him in good stead when designing and building hybrid Big Data solutions.
